The downloads page is an amalgamation of a bunch of content that’s been on a bunch of sites online, now they will all be hosted here. It’s just an area to share little plugins and setups and programs that I’ve written to make my life easier, my hope is that they might help or be of interest to others. As always feedback is welcome.
Fonts
Chaos Math
This is a logotype font I made for a project that I ended up liking so much that I finished out the alphabet. Chaos Math is designed to be a 3D extruded font. The strokes are painstakingly organized and optimized so that extruded text can be beveled or manipulated without vertexes getting all crazy. Chaos math is released under the Open Font Lisence (OFL) and is free to use for anything.

Cinema Shell
Cinema Shell is a little utility that I cooked up with AppleScript (Mac only for now) that automates the process of doing command line renders via the terminal. It works as a droplet or with a dialogue to select the file you want to render and then automatically starts the render in the shell. Each time it is run it will open a new thread in a new window so you can do multiple renders at a time. I’m currently re-writing this in python so it’ll play nice with windows and linux. Cinema Shell is a good alternative to net-render if you need to use single machines per render pass and you want an optimal no-gui render.

Light Dome Preset 1.1
Light Dome Preset is a little light rig that I released last year, I use light domes a lot so I decided to cook up a little expresso rig that would make control really easy. It’s a pretty dynamic setup, and everything is controlled from the null that all the objects are grouped under. The best way to use it is to drag the group into a folder in the content browser so you can get to it quickly.
*Light Dome Preset 1.1 requires the MoGraph 1 or 2 module

XPRESSO Tag Script
This is a simple COFFEE script that lets you use a button in the GUI and/or hotkey to add an xpresso tag to the active object in the scene.

Layout Files
This download contains my layout files, my keyboard shortcuts, and my new file template. They’re just here so I can grab them when I’m on a different workstation but I figured they might be of help, the XPRESSO layout is particularly nice for working with thinking particles.

Icons
A hobby of mine is skinning and modding my computer so everything looks and behaves nicely. So I’ve cooked up some replacement icons over the years to fit the general aesthetic. Here are a few:
